“<\/span>Integrationen for denne store virksomhed var oprindeligt baseret p\u00e5 RFC-kald i SAP via TIBCO. Virksomheden har til trods for det form\u00e5et at genbruge den grundl\u00e6ggende logik i SAP’s RFC-funktionsmoduler ved overgangen til API-services.<\/p>

En n\u00f8glefaktor i deres succes var strategien om at undg\u00e5 separate ‘Create’ og ‘Change’ RFC’er. I stedet valgte virksomheden at implementere en ‘Maintain’ RFC, som automatisk afg\u00f8r, om der skal oprettes eller \u00e6ndres et objekt. Det sikrede en mere robust integration, da det eliminerede behovet for, at Windchill altid skulle have fuldst\u00e6ndig styr p\u00e5, om et objekt allerede fandtes i SAP eller ej.<\/p>

En anden vigtig faktor var, at distribution targets i Windchill blev sat til altid at sende alle data, og ikke kun de der var \u00e6ndret. Det resulterede i, at interface altid udf\u00f8rte en komplet sammenligning af data i SAP med hele datas\u00e6ttet fra Windchill ved hver overf\u00f8rsel, hvilket yderligere \u00f8gede robustheden og p\u00e5lideligheden af integrationen.<\/p>
